TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Accountant I in Germantown, TN
This role performs intermediate accounting and finance support including, but not
limited to, maintaining the general ledger, reviewing financial statements,
preparing financial reports, assisting with audits and budgeting processes, and
reconciling accounts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Prepares and enters monthly general ledger journal entries and accruals to
meet monthly deadlines
Reconciles and analyzes general ledger accounts
Understands financial statements including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
Performs regular analysis to identify potential issues and estimate monthly results.
Research and answer financial questions.
Develop standard and ad hoc reports with analysis to support business objectives as needed.
Recommends improvements to the company’s accounting operation/processes
Assist on audit and tax requests as assigned.
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field is required.
1-2 years of relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables,
vlookups, etc.
).
Oracle experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and multitasking skills.
Well-organized self-starter with a passion for continuous improvement of key processes
Strong team player, willing to contribute ideas and take on new challenges.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize time, and meet required deadlines
High level of attention to detail – accuracy is key
Capability to succeed and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrate approachable and professional demeanor.
