Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern
SUMMARY
As an FP&A Intern, you will work closely under the supervision of the FP&A Director and Intern Mentor.
You will experience and apply real-world techniques in collaboration with the FP&A team members to assist with preparing financial models, perform analytical work, and review financial results.
This Internship will allow for excellent hands-on experience within a dynamic, forward-looking organization priding itself on operational excellence.
Location: Memphis Corporate Headquarters - must be located in Memphis, TN or willing to relocate
Reports to: Director of FP&A
Mentor: Senior FP&A Analyst
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
The individual may be asked to perform other duties as requested.
PROJECTS TO BE COMPLETED:
Prepare month-end reports comparing actuals to budget.
Monthly expense forecasting and annual plan assistance.
Research, collect, analyze, and model quantitative data to track performance against KPI’s.
Analyze reports to identify issues.
Work with appropriate business partners and follow-ups
Create dashboards.
Conduct category analysis
Develop and maintain weekly/monthly metrics reports.
Ad hoc reporting and project support as needed.
Additional training to ensure success.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
An individual qualified for this job must have and maintain the following qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in business administration, finance, or accounting
SUMMER 2024 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Summer internships will begin mid-May and end mid-August (flexible)
Intern schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday (hours are flexible based on availability)
Hourly wage ranges from $18 to $23
