* The Director, Marketing manages all aspects of MaxxSouth’s Marketing Department and is ultimately responsible for identifying and implementing functional marketing strategies that contribute to overall business objectives.
* The Director, Marketing is responsible for tracking and reporting subscriber statistics, conducting market research analysis and reporting, measuring, and reporting the effectiveness of campaigns and promotions, and other critical industry related issues.
* The Director, Marketing reports to the VP of Marketing Operations with a dotted line to the Vice President and General Manager.
* Direct reports to this position are Marketing, Media, & Special Projects Manager.
*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Director, Marketing: * Identifies, develops, and implements marketing and business strategies and improvements designed to meet the company’s goals and objectives for all residential and small business services; * Creates, evaluates, and forecasts marketing campaigns and promotions; * Creates and oversees the implementation of pricing structure for MaxxSouth products and services; * Performs market analyses to maintain advanced knowledge of the industry, competitor, and company products and services to forecast and combat their impact on operations; * Prepares, justifies, and administers budgets in accordance with company objectives and strategies, analyzing financial data to ensure expenses are accurately forecasted and expenditures are executed against the operating plan, making corrections when necessary; * Develops and assists in the implementation and monitoring process or creation of a program with KPIs and tools to manage each team member’s performance and project completion; * Serves within MaxxSouth’s footprint by sponsoring initiatives and programs that promote the interests of the communities that we service; * Collaborates with other members of leadership to design, maintain, and champion the mission, vision, strategy, and culture of the company and translates them into projects and initiatives that support the growth of the company; * Sponsors and assists in the development of new project charters; * Identifies obstacles and root causes of issues, recommends improvements, and implements solutions; * Represents and collaborates with all government, and city/school officials on marketing partnerships to further the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP); * Onboards, trains, supports, and manages the performance of direct reports to ensure high performance; * Follows and enforces the Company’s policies and procedures, including the EEO guidelines and safety, at all times; * Performs miscellaneous departmental duties as needed.
*JOB REQUIREMENTS* *Education and Experience* * Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field – required * 10 years of progressive practical related work experience – required7 years of business-to-business marketing experience including integrated sales and marketing campaign development – required * 5 years of progressive management experience – required5 years of experience managing 3rd party advertising and public relations partners – required 5 years of experience managing event and sponsorship marketing elements for both brand management and transactional sales – required * Experience using Microsoft Office - required * Knowledge of residential cable TV, internet, phone services, smart home products – desired BCI and its operating companies will provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetic information, ancestry, disability, or veteran or military status.
