Now we are looking to build our team with a driven fundraising leader to increase annual giving, deepen alumni engagement and strengthen industry investment.
In partnership with the Foundation Executive Director, the Development Officer develops, the Gift Officer plays a pivotal role in driving donor cultivation and retention.
The Gift Officer develops and implements strategies to increase annual giving, securing major and planned gifts and fostering relationships with individual and institutional donors.

Essential Functions Statement(s) Enhances and grows annual leadership gift program which includes personalized cultivation and solicitation of donations among Campbell residency and fellowship alumni, patients, community members.
Develops and implement thoughtful and creative strategies to diversify individual donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, acknowledgement, recognition and retention.
Solicits and stewards donors to secure Annual Fund, major giving, special initiatives, and event gifts.
Maintains and analyzes records of donor interactions and relationships.
Tracks record building relationships, closing gifts, and upgrading annual donors to major gifts.
Develops written correspondence to donors, including individual proposals, stewardship reports, and personalized invitations.
Facilitates direct mail and digital fundraising campaigns, solicitation letters and other communication materials to cultivate new donors and renew and upgrade current donors; accompanies and assists volunteers with solicitations of assigned prospects that include annual giving; will assist as appropriate with major and planned gift prospects.
Leverages Campbell Foundation Board of Trustees and other advisory bodies to assist with fundraising efforts and identifying new prospects.
Co-leads Momentum Society marketing, fundraising and volunteer engagement in fundraising and patient outreach.
Compiles and utilizes donor, financial and statistical data and other reports as assigned or requested.
Plans and prepare donor recognition for websites, digital marketing and collateral to acknowledge donors.
Partners with Foundation team members in special project based work and other duties as assigned.
Must demonstrate strong analytical and project management skills, well-organized, detail oriented, and able to make deadlines.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to work in a cooperative manner with others.
Performs other duties as assigned Skill & Abilities Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Master's Degree Preferred.
Experience: Five years minimum successful experience in alumni relations, sales, development office administration or comparable relationship-building experience required.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills are required in MS Office applications, donor software/ database applications, and programs used to develop presentations and communication materials.
Abilities: The position requires an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives on challenges, works well under pressure, and has excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
The Gift officer must be a self-motivated and well-organized team player and an expert listener.
