Inventory and Facilities Associate

Position Summary: Will assist operations and inventory departments in moving, relocating, organizing, and accounting for products.
Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping/mopping floors, removing trash.
Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of the need for repairs, breaking down boxes in the distribution center, and assisting inventory department as needed.
Essential Functions: Remove/replace labels in bin locations.
Assist inventory department in moving, relocating, and accounting for inventory.
Ensure timely execution of all assigned tasks.
Break down boxes and load the cardboard bailer in the distribution center.
Dustmop the distribution center.
Empty trash bins and transport waste to dumpsters.
Repair carts and perform general maintenance on all equipment.
Disinfect equipment and supplies as needed.
Keep storage area and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
Keep bathrooms clean and restocked.
Keep the break room clean and free of debris as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience: Required: Experience in finding inventory issues and keeping up with inventory numbers.
Required: General experience of janitorial work.
Required: Worked within a distribution center or warehouse environment.
Required Skills: Must have excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and email.
Ability to work independently, with little or no direct supervision.
Must maintain a professional demeanor and always adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
Must have working knowledge of facilities and maintenance work.
Working Conditions: 100% of the time spent moving through and between a climate-controlled office and a non-climate-controlled distribution center.
100% of the time spent performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, bending, twisting, balancing, walking, stooping, crouching, and handling materials.
90% of the time spent making repetitive motions.
Educational Requirements: Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
