We are looking for an individual to provide outstanding service for our liquor store.
The ideal candidate is an organized, dependable, responsible individual who has a passion for providing customers with an exceptional experience and takes ownership of the overall upkeep of the store.
*DUTIES:*
* Performs cashier duties, including operating cash register/point-of-sales (POS) system.
Follows drawer closure and balancing policies.
* Lift heavy boxes 25-45lbs and use a hand truck or dolly to pull stock from inventory
* Receives deliveries of stock and verifies incoming stock through the POS system.
Ensures stock, cases and bottles are put away according to store rules.
* Notifies the Manager of any broken bottles or undelivered items.
* Performs stocking of shelves, display cases and coolers throughout each shift and as needed.
* Greets, interacts and assists customers with their purchases
* Provides excellent customer service and engage customers to address their concerns
* Maintains the store cleanliness through dusting shelves, bottles, displays; Sweeping and mopping floors, and wiping counters and spills if they occur; Breaking down boxes and trash removal
*This job also requires the ability to:*
* Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
* Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
* Stand and sit for periods of time
* Restock throughout the shift and ensure accurate description/price of product(s) are listed
* Follows Store opening and closing store procedures
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* High school diploma or equivalency degree
* *Must be at least 21 years of age*
* Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills with a positive and welcoming attitude
* *Preferred 1-2 yrs retail experience*
* *Preferred experience using a POS system, cash register, scanner, calculator, computer experience*
* *Must be able to list 25 - 35lbs with no physical limitations*
* Experience working in a liquor or packaged store, a plus
* Basic knowledge or wines and/or spirits, a plus
