POSITION SUMMARY The Medical Records Clerk ensures medical records are complete and available for review.
THIS POSITION IS FULL-TIME, 40 HOURS PER WEEK.

Essential Functions Statement(s) Scans all relevant documentation into the electronic medical record such as registration forms, anesthesia documents and all other clinical records as needed Retrieves notes from outside entities and places in appropriate charts Ensures transcriptions from outside clinics are completed and in the chart in a timely manner Assists in retrieving archived paper charts and scanning them into the medical record in accordance with the retention and destruction policy.
Regular and predictable attendance Ability to work in a cooperative manner with others Performs other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Experience: 1 year previous experience in Medical Records or similar background is required.
