We are seeking a *Plant Engineering Manager (Assets & Reliability) *for our client, a leader in the pharmaceutical industry.
In this role, you will be working the first shift, Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm in our clients Olive Branch facility.
_*Qualifications:*_
* A minimum of five (5) years experience in an automated distribution warehouse environment with large volume distribution operations and start-up and troubleshooting.
* BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities/Plant Management, or relevant field.
* Managerial experience and strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, IPB diagrams and electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings, and relay that information to additional members of the internal staff.
* Experience with troubleshooting complex automated systems controlled by PLCs and microprocessors in a high-volume work environment.
_*Responsibilities include but are not limited to:*_
* Managing a staff of 8 engineers and technicians to ensure daily productivity goals are achieved including planning effective preventative maintenance plans and schedules for all facility equipment and material handling systems.
* Diagnoses error conditions occurring in the facility and repairs accordingly in support of division operations.
Schedules and executes ongoing preventive maintenance program for building and material handling equipment.
* Assists in the configuration maintenance, modifications, and system upgrades of MHE and APS control systems to include PLC programming.
* Keeps facility management apprised of escalating abnormal or critical situations and coordinates resolutions/repairs with outside professional maintenance.
* Performs related duties as assigned.
