Recovery Center of Tennessee's mission is to help individuals reclaim their lives from the disease of addiction to alcohol and other drugs and to reduce the incidence of addiction in future generations.
We are an agency committed to quality gender-responsive, trauma-informed care to clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
The men's House Manager is in recovery and will live in the Transitional Housing with our men client residents to support and monitor recovery.
Compensation includes room & board and a monthly stipend.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide monitoring and guidance for residents
Maintain confidentiality of client information
Work to resolve conflicts or disagreements that may arise between residents
Responsible for providing a friendly, safe, helpful, and inclusive atmosphere
Respond rapidly and responsibly to house emergencies
Assist with drug screening
Enforce house guidelines, rules, and standards of conduct and maintain appropriate boundaries with residents
Ensure emergency numbers, protocols, and evacuation maps are posted in conspicuous locations
Assist with move in/move out of residents
Participate in all assigned meetings, staff development, and training as required
Requirements:
Current Adult CPR and First Aid Certification
Understanding of the fundamentals of addiction and community resources (ex.
12-step programs)
Strong interpersonal and engagement skills
Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality
Strong computer skills
Ability to support the agency’s mission and philosophy, and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural diversity and workplace harmony
Ability to live in the residence with clients'
