The Warehouse Lead will direct and supervise the warehouse staff and day-to-day operations in the assigned by the Branch manager ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of productivity goals.
This position reports directly to the Branch Manager and the Director of Operations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Preparing schedules for WHSE associates and the daily workload.
Oversee all orders and distribute assignments amongst warehouse associates.
Oversee all shipments in and out to verify material will be correct.
Complete various management task.
Planning tasks to maintain high performance of the warehouse’s storage and shipment processes.
Oversees organization to set up layout of WHSE and ensure efficient space utilization.
Cycle counting/order checking.
Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
Establish and follow through, warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.
Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with the leadership team.
Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees!
Verifying all paperwork (driver paperwork, inbound sheets, RMA forms and any other documents) is correct.
Confirming employees punch in and outs.
Assuring warehouse associates complete any trainings needed.
Working with shipping and receiving personnel regarding the ingress and egress of trucks
Plus, any other additional tasks assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Excellent communication skills with all levels of external and internal customers, including warehouse workers, office personnel and Management.
Complete understanding of inventory control policies & procedures.
Proficient MS Office, including Excel, Word & Outlook.
Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
Experience leading a team
Quick Book Enterprise software experience preferred
Previous industry experience preferred

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
Ability to operate a forklift, certification will be required after hire.
Pay Range: $20.
00 to $23.
00 per hour.
