*POSITION SUMMARY* The Operations Manager oversees all operations performed by shop employees.
This includes, goal setting, coordination of activities, and meeting objectives and ensuring rental services are meet established standards.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Essential functions include but are not limited to the following: · Evaluates and inputs all new contracts and closed contracts to ensure compliance · Maintains productivity by allocating resources and delegating tasks to Fleet Maintenance Manager’s and Fleet Service Technicians; provides coaching and counseling when necessary to ensure procedures are followed · Builds brand awareness through representation, networking, referrals, emails, and following up on website leads and delegating them to the Business Development Manager · Anticipates customer needs and establishes priorities and courses of action to meet daily objectives · Communicates with the Operations Managers and Support Specialist weekly to understand inventory supply and demands · Maintains work area and offices in a neat, orderly condition to ensure efficient operations · Tracks inventory levels and submits purchase orders as needed · Supports team members with work needing to be performed for customers, such as, demo, deliveries, and sales reporting · Addresses customer questions/concerns as they arise · Oversees safety training, OSHA logs, and ensures safety minutes are met; maintenance of certification as needed · Monitors results of delegated assignments and provides suggestions for improvement to eliminate risk *QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS* · High School Degree or GED required · A minimum of 4-6 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required · Previous experience supervising employees is required · Valid driver’s license · Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in multiple forms required · Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required · Previous experience problem solving with a variety of variables is required · Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry strongly preferred *PHYSICAL DEMANDS* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
